We recently had lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed it. All of our meals were delicious and the garlic cheese bread is excellent. Our server/waitress made our time here even better. There is a full menu with a good selection of appetizers, main courses, and dessert. They also have a full bar as well as soft drinks, coffee, tea etc. All in all a good atmosphere and a good experience. It’s easy to get to as it’s on the main road and only a couple of miles from I-91. They have plenty of parking both in front of the restaurant and on the side. There is both wheelchair parking and a wheelchair entrance. We will definitely be back.
My husband took me here for my birthday, and I was beyond delighted. This restaurant has just been added to my fave restaurant list! New date night spot, for sure. The service was impeccable and the food was so, so so good. I will definitely be a repeat customer
I had my bridal shower last weekend at their private room and it was amazing! The service was great, very attentive and friendly, the food was wonderful, all my guests agreed that it was delicious. I am definitely coming back with my soon to be husband.
If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! Atmosphere top notch..... Lori, our waitress, went above and beyond .... was so friendly and helpful....... she even got me an Italian Margarita (the first one they ever made for a customer and it was excellent) and the food...... WOW!!! We got garlic bread for an appetizer to start and I had the Shrimp Gnocchi .......... so so so delicious!!! Before we left with our leftovers Lori brought us some biscotti (yum) and another gentlemen gave us a loaf of garlic bread (yum, yum). We loved this restaurant and will stop here whenever traveling through the area!!! Thank you everyone at Salute!!!! We were so tired from traveling all day but were energized by the time we left!
We chose Salute in Rocky Hill to celebrate our daughter’s graduation this evening. Everything from the moment we walked in to when we left was spot on. A very warm greeting made us feel like “regulars” and a bartender who made an excellent Manhattan that kept the flow going. A very special shout out to Angelica who took care of our table! I couldn’t have asked for more. A wonderful personality and executed with precision. She was there exactly when we needed something and gave us room to breathe as we settled in to enjoy some very tasty dishes. My hat’s off to management and staff for understanding that a guest who is made to feel welcomed will certainly come back. Patrons have a choice and we look forward to visiting again. A very big thank you to the entire staff at Salute Rocky Hill for putting a beautiful cherry on top of a wonderful day. Your teamwork really made a great impression.
We had my daughters baby shower here- 18 of us-it was wonderful. Food was delicious, service was great, staff responded quickly to our questions and requests. We had a comfortable private space. We will come back again for the good food!!!
I’ve been wanting to try this place for YEARS. I finally went recently with my family and I was not disappointed. We started off with bread and butter which was good but the bread was a little dry. Then for our appetizers, we had arancini (not sure), calamari and caesar salad. The calamari was so good, I couldn’t stop eating it. Then for the entrees, I got the rigatoni vodka pasta with shrimp and my family got some shrimp pasta (i forgot the name) and a steak. We all liked our food. The shrimp in my pasta was cut into small pieces which is perfect because I don’t like big pieces of shrimp. The pasta was so good. The service was good. Our server was very polite and attentive. The restaurant was completely full but we still had quick service. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and I would definitely come here again.
Not sure what we enjoyed more- the food or the staff! We were immediately greeted with a smiling face, a woman who made great conversation with our toddler and had her pick out some crayons and a coloring page. Our waitress Angelica was fantastic! She was kind, quick, and made great conversation with both us and our daughter. She truly made the experience, and our Mother’s Day dinner a great one! THE FOOD was so fresh and so delicious! We had the bread & smoked tomato butter, spicy calamari, pink vodka chicken parm, and the tiramisu. Everything was phenomenal!! I think we found our new favorite restaurant!
